We started Tabi for travellers who want the story, not just the sight.

Much of the Shuto expressway was built for the 1964 Olympics, threaded over rivers and between buildings. At night its curves and lights became a stage for Japan's car culture, which still gathers at parking areas along the bay.

Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start time. Running late? Message your guide. After 15 minutes without contact, the tour counts as a no-show and can't be refunded. Seat belts must be worn at all times. No food or drinks in the car. Car-meet spots are sometimes closed by the police on busy nights. If so, we stop at another viewpoint instead. Prone to motion sickness? Let us know when you book.
